Abstract
The book reflects urologic diseases that can result from insufficiency of kidneys, or can occur simultaneously with nephrologic diseases that precede, accompany or follow the kidney transplantation. Urologic diseases of these patients become unstandard both in their diagnostics, the course of the disease and treatment, and deserve special attention.
The book deals with problems that are currently solved in urology and that were presented at Czech or European conferences of urology and trasplantology. The main part of the book is based on knowledge obtained at the Department of Urology in Hradec Králové, the workplace that performed the first kidney transplantation in the Czech Republic on November 23, 1961.
