Abstract

During autopsy of a 72-year-old woman a cavernous hemangioma of the heart was found. It was 10 mm in diameter, situated subepicardially in the sulcus coronarius in neighbourhood of the right coronary artery.

The problematics of hemangiomas in the context of benign heart tumors is discussed.
