Abstract
During pregnancy basic metabolic, hormonal and immunological changes appear that also cause changes on skin and mucosa membranes. Some of these changes appear in the majority of pregnant women and thus are considered to be physiological changes related to pregnancy.
Others, more rare symptoms, defined as diseases of skin due to pregnancy are so-called pregnancy dermatoses. Apart from that, the influence of pregnancy on development of many skin diseases is known ? either worsening the conditions or improving it.
