Expression of nestin and other markers in the course of skeletal muscle regeneration

Abstract

The study describes histological findings and expression of immunohistochemical markers (nestin, desmin, vimentin, SMA) during degeneration and regeneration of the skeletal muscle induced either by heterochronous isotransplantation or injection of cardiotoxin.
