Antrhropometrical examinations and measurement of muscle strength by geriatric patients

Abstract

The reduction of muscle mass and increase of body fat is physiological in the elderly, in case of malnutrition or acute states the decrease of muscles is quicker and there is significant reduction of muscle strangth. We want to present a survey of basic anthropometrical examinations and study results comparing antrhropometrical measurements in the group of geriatric in -patients and young healthy volunteers.
