Gamma irradiation of human leukaemic cells HL-60 and MOLT-4 induces decrease in Mcl-1 and Bid, release of cytochrome c, and activation of caspase-8 and caspase-9

Abstract

In this work we studied the molecular mechanisms activated by gamma radiation in human leukaemic cells HL-60 and MOLT-4. Radiation induces decrease in Mcl-1 and Bid, release of cytochrome c, and activation of caspase-8 and caspase-9.
