Abstract

The term chronic myeloproliferative disorders is used for polycythaemia vera, essential thrombocythemia and myelofibrosis. The contribution of allogeneic blood stem cell transplantation is discussed in this group myeloproliferative disorders.

Transplantation in polycythaemia vera and essential thrombocythemia is recommended only in their transformation in myelofibrosis. But, transplantation is fully indicated in younger patients with myelofibrosis with bad prognosis course.
