Abstract
Alltracel´s MDOC is a polymeric microdispersed derivative of oxidised cellulose, in chemical terms polyanhydroglucuronic acid (PAGA). We study the platelet count decrease in whole anticoagulated blood.
We compared the impact of preparations of PAGA modified forms where the Ca2+ ions were gradually replaced by the following ions: Mg2+, Fe2+, Al3+, and Zn2+.
