Abstract

LDL-apheresis is a therapeutic method used for treating patients with severe hyperlipidemia, it improves hemostasis too. Changes of primary haemostasis detected with PFA-100 analyzer seems to be not significant in our study (p<0,14).

However, modified platelets aggregation seems to be more suitable marker to determine the optimal intensity of individual LDL-apheresis with statistically significantly improved results (p<0.05).
