Evaluation of novel approaches to automatic peak detection of visual evoked potentials

Abstract

The article compares accuracy of two methods for determination of a specific peak in visual evoked potentials. Analytical approach and algorithm based on the continuous wavelet transformation are compared to expert assessment.

The evaluation showed that the analytical approach gives more accurate results in case of signal with a high signal to noise ratio.
