Abstract

Paper investigates the role of intracellular zinc depletion or supplementation in chromium (VI)-induced oxidative stress, DNA damage and apoptosis in vitro. Results show that chromium (VI) may specifically damage skin fibroblasts whose susceptibility and response depend, among others,on intracellular zinc concentrations.
