A synod or a parliament? Contribution to the relation of profane might and utraquist church-institutions in the Jagellonian period

Abstract

The essay lays two questions. At first if it is possible to speak in Bohemia in the Jagellonian Period about an existence of synods.

The answer means yes, but with the condition to limit the changed disposition of those synods. At second it deals with the problems of the mechanism of elections of utraquist administrators and the share of the clergy at secular meetings (parliament) on it.
