"Travelling is life", was Hans Chr. Andersen's device.
He reflected his numerous travels in his literary work (especially A Poet's Bazaar, The Fairy Tale of my Life), but most precisely in his diaries. Andersen can be considered as a pioneer of the modern travel reportage, what extends also for his visits in Bohemia.
He has been here for eight-times between 1831 and 1872, his observations about Prague and towns in Northern Bohemia are very remarkable.
