Abstract
The article summarizes information about the anatomy, embryology, pathobiology and diseases of the thyroid gland covering topics such as differential diagnosis of thyroid nodules, thyroiditis, hyperthyroidism and hypothyroidism, and thyroid tumors and using of tumor markers.
