Arterial properties in relation to genetic variations in the adducin subunits in a white population

Abstract

We studied association between adducin genes and arterial properties brachial diameter was urger, while brachial distensibivity and compliance were lower in ADD3 AA than ADD3 66 homozygotes in multiple-gene analyses, these associations were present only in ADD 1 GLYGLY homozygotes.
