The diagnosis of norovirus infections in hospitalized children and adolescents with acute gastroenteritis: a study from Pilsen, Czech Republic

Abstrakt

Norovirus infection was confirmed in 10% of all patients hospitalized with acute gastroenteritis. The most common symptom was vomiting (95,2% of norovirus infection cases).

Extraintestinal complications were not detected.
