Abstract
Statements made by pupils and students about what the instruction of literary education looks like at primary and secondary schools can be a valuable source for mapping the actual state of affairs of literary education and search for potential teaching innovations not only in the literary part of the subject Czech Language and Literature. The paper informs about the results of the first research phase, inspired by research results published by s Slovak university teacher.
