Negotiating manhood in post-apartheid South Africa : precarious transformations of Tshivenda-speaking labour migrants into religious leaders

Abstract

The paper examines life-careers of labour migrants from Venda to the urban centers in South Africa as to the ways in which these have articulated widers shifts in rural-urban migration dynamics and negotiations of cultural and gender identity.
