Postextrasystolic potentiation is determined by the function of sarcoplasmatic reticulum

Abstract

The administration of caffeine or trimecaine, blockers of sarcoplasmic reticulum (SR) functions, caused the disapperance of postextrasystolic potentiation in adult myocardium.
