Clinically important beta-lactamases of Gram-negative bacteria: AmpC

Abstract

Beta-lactamases are the commonest cause of a resistance of gram-negative bacteria to beta-lactam antimicrobial agents. Cephalosporinases AmpC are the major group of these enzymes.

This review is focused on the problems of ESBL.
