The crystal structures, molecular spectra and thermal behaviour of carbamoylferrocene and ferrocenecarbonylhydrazide

Abstract

Carbamoylferrocene and ferrocenecarbonylhydrazide were prepared by modified literature procedures and characterised by conventional spectroscopic methods, single-crystal X-ray crystallography and thermal analysis. Pyrolysis of the former compound afforded nanocrystalline hematite.
