Abstract

A series of chiral phosphanylferrocenecarboxamides with amino acid pendant groups was prepared and tested as ligands to Cu-catalysed enantioselective conjugate addition of diethylzinc to chalcones. Precursors to the Cu catalysts were structurally characterised.
