To the Relations between Writers’ and Printers’ Orthography in Early Modern Manuscripts

Abstract

The article deals with the differences between the orthographic usage (marking of vocalic quantity, digraphs vs. diacritics etc.) of different types of Czech early modern manuscripts, compares their usage with the usage of contemporary prints and endeavours to indetify motives inducing writers to adopt one or the other usage.
