Abstract
The study originates in the three author´s stays in the largely buddhistic Thailand. The first part of the study deals with buddhistic tenets on university level divided as follows : meditation systems, cosmologic opinions, life after death, law of karma, monkhood.
The second part compares the buddhistic tenets with the European thought. Intrinsic contradictions within buddhistic doctrine are determinated in the third part of the publication.
