Abstract

The text perceives a peer group (i.e. school class) as a specific social group and characterizes it from a social psychology viewpoint. It further shows links between social group dynamics and students' behaviour and their possible use in the course of educational intervention and other work of teachers.

The text also introduces a theory of resilient classrooms.
