Abstract

This chapter is an account of the early stage of Czechoslovak-Polish dispute in Zips, a territory located on the former border between Galicia and Kingdom of Hungary, which resulted from the split of Austria-Hungary and the birth (or restoration) of the so-called successor states, Czechoslovakia and Poland.
