Abstract
The article discusses the inovative tendencies in the Czech tehatre production sinc ethe avant-garde movement till nowdays. The main objective is to demonstrate the circus influence on the Czech theatre, the conclusion being that the circus poetics and arts has provided for a formal and symbolic instrument of the new theatre aesthetics.
