On the medieval Memoirs of Václav Černý, the creative satisfaction and the delusive luridness of toads

Abstract

The preface contemplates the concept of the anthology of medieval French texts and the personage of its author Václav Černý. New perspectives for the Czech scholarship of French texts originating from the Middle Ages are suggested.
