Abstract
The publication „Psychiatry: Recommended guidelines for psychiatric treatment III.“ has been recently published in the Tribun Publishing House. Jiri Raboch, Martin Anders, Pavla Kellerova and Petra Uhlikova represent the board of authors.
The guidelines are presented in a didactic and understandable way, well-aranged schemes are used. The chapters have a simple structure, so that the reader may become easily oriented in the text.
The guidelines are strictly based on evidence based medicine. The standards for psychiatric treatment in various regions of the Czech Republic are also published in the book.
The standards for a physical restraint of the patients are also stated. It can be summed up, that the benefits of the reviewed publication are more important, than its limitations.
All psychiatrists in the Czech Republic may find this book as useful for their clinical practice.
