Abstract
In our contribution we focus on lexicographical treatment of nouns in the new Large German-Czech Academic Dictionary (a project lead by PhDr. Marie Vachková Ph.D., Institute for the German Studies, Faculty of Philosophy and Arts, Charles University in Prague).
Following a brief introduction of the project, we sum up some of the most important ideas connected with design of the dictionary entries of nouns and their semantic relations. We are concentrating on German circumfix nouns in Ge-(e) and describing them using new corpus linguistic tools developed at the Institute for the German Language in Mannheim (DEREKO - German Reference Corpus and CCDB - Cooccurrance Database).
All these moments are illustrated by entries of the forthcoming dictionary and the designed database input.
