Abstract
Disorders of hemostasis may be due to defects in either in platelet number or function or to problems in formation of a fibrin clot (coagulation). Thrombocytopenia may be produced eitehr by abnormal bone marrow function or by peripheral destruction.
This article is a view of differential diagnosis of thrombocytopenia.
