Critical essay on Northern Irish playwright Stewart Parker and his work for stage and television. The essay surveys and re-evaluates Parker's work on the twentieth anniversary of his death.
The focus is upon the alternative images of Northern Ireland that are to be found in Parker's writings for the theatre and for television.
