Abstract
The author deals with the protection of marine biodiversity in international law. Defines the term "Marine Biodiversity" and the factual and legal context of its protection.
It also deals with the sources of international law to protect marine biodiversity and the most important factors conditioning the effectiveness of protection of marine biodiversity, international law and their presentation.
