Profiles

The graduate of the continuing Master's program Philosophy in Jewish and Christian Contexts has acquired complex theoretical knowledge of the European philosophy, i. e. mainly ontology, gnoseology, ethics and philosophical theology. He or she can creatively interpret and critically evaluate a philosophical text and is qualified to further pursue his or her academic career.

The graduate has acquired knowledge of Judaism as a religious system, with a focus on the specific issues of rabbinic literature, Jewish mysticism and Jewish philosophy. The graduate is provided with advanced knowledge of original biblical languages (Biblical Hebrew, Biblical Aramaic) and Modern Hebrew (Ivrit).
