Profiles

The B.A. graduate in General Linguistics has mastered basic analytic methods of linguistic research; gained basic understanding of modern linguistic knowledge; is aware of broader cognitive and communicative underpinnings of grammatical structure, including its variability; and is familiar with the interdisciplinary nature of contemporary linguistic research.

Graduates have an excellent command of one, and a passive knowledge of two other Scandinavian languages. They have profound knowledge of Scandinavian literature and Scandinavian culture, history and society.
