Graduates of the MA programme are qualified for professional work in the field. Their comprehensive grounding in literary studies enables them to pursue activities related to any aspect of literature. Furthermore, they have a deeper understanding of the historical development of Czech and of the factors influencing successful and functional communication.

Graduates meet the requirements of international standards (English at EFRL level C2). They have a command of genre conventions in translation into Czech and into English, can use translation software and are able to defend their translation solutions. Graduates are able to adapt to requirements of practical careers or to study for a higher degree.
