Graduates have a sound knowledge of the foundations of Spanish linguistics, history of Spanish and Hispano-American literature, culture and history of Spanish-speaking countries. They have oral and written skills in Spanish at C1 level.
Graduates are prepared for study in master’s degree programmes. They can seek careers in a broad range of domains including publishing and editing, translation, language counselling in the media, PR in business firms, NGOs, tourism, foreign affairs and European Union bodies.
